GENESYS, in addition to its forerunner in Computer Systems, Networks and IT Applications, is also a leader in Electronic Detection, Inspection and Security Systems.

GENESYS΄ latest products are based on the computational power of the latest generation processors with TSMC ultra-low-power 40 nano-meter and transistor density. The processing is done by dual-core 32-bitLX6 processors, which communicate via Wi-Fi at 2.4 GHz.

One of these products is the integrated detection system for detecting explosive mixtures from LPG and / or Natural Gas.One type is the gas detector, such as LPG, consisting mainly of propane, propylene, butane, and butylene in various blends. The second type is the natural gas detector, namely methane.

The types of sensors used in the particular gas detectors are catalytic and are mainly used to detect explosive gases (at concentrations measured in % L.E.L.). Gas detection units have an interface module with a modem-router.

They communicate with a Signal Tracking Center where there is a built-in Project Management application that will inform when a calibration, on-site check or replacement of the catalytic detector of the gas detection units should be performed.

When there is an alert for escape of explosive gases and is not a false alarm then the Decision Making Center can remotely command the detector unit to perform the following tasks:

    1. Stop the operation of electrical devices that can cause ignition.
    2. Switch off the supply of gas with the aid of a solenoid.
    3. Activate the alarm siren.
    4. Electrically open some windows with special explosion-proof electric motors.
    5. Operate special, anti-explosion proof ventilation fans

To end, in case that the concentration of explosive gases remains, the decision-making center will be able to call the Immediate 24-hour gas service as the use of the telephone in areas with escaping explosive mixtures of liquefied gases and / or natural gas is not permitted.
